5. Tender Documents: Request for tender (RFT) As follows
Tender documents are prepared to seek offers from potential contractors/suppliers. Tender documents must be prepared for a range of contractors, such as equipment supply, the main construction contract, whether the design was prepared by the contractor or not, demolition, enabling, and so on.

6. Preamble: A preamble explains a document commonly in contacts, specification, and bill of quantities. it might include, a description of the parties to the contract background to the document, the objectives of the project, and so on.
7. Preliminaries: The preliminary costs of a construction project include the erection of scaffolding and the installation of site services. (Site offices, site cleaning sign board, security, safety labor campus, stationary, printer, power supply, etc.)
Preliminary items are a part of the BOQ for the proposed project, and tenders or contractors are required to be priced separately. Preliminaries items are separate from the trade items
Preliminary costs are often referred to as prelims. They are calculated individually for each project as a lump sum and added to the tender cost, during the finalizing of the tender
Usually, prelims are 6-12% depending upon project location.
